I’m Becky…. and I’m so glad you’re here.
I grew up in the Northwest. After spending 20 years in the events industry doing everything from venue management and wedding planning to floral design and operations management, it was time to start something new, and Bivins Events was born!
I’m a big believer in living an integrated life, so I want the same passion, integrity, and creativity I pour into my personal life to also flow into my business. Because of this, Bivins Events is rooted in values of hospitality, equity, generosity, sustainability, and community care. I commit to fight for all humans’ rights to live, love, be true to themselves, and have a safe, respected place in our community. I also commit to reducing single-use decor items and non-compostable goods whenever possible, and giving event flowers a second life with post-event donation.
I LOVE the Seattle events industry. We as an industry are better together – we push each other, hold each other up, and inspire each other. These kick-ass, big-hearted professionals have been my people for two decades now, and I love hearing your stories, seeing the gorgeous work you create, sharing tips and tricks over buckets of cut flowers at the wholesaler, commiserating over our long and sweaty hours in the middle of a set-up, and toasting to a season well done at networking events.
